Welcome to Eccleston CE Primary School
A small school with a big heart, where every child can let their light shine.
A very warm welcome to Eccleston Church of England Primary School!
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make, and we understand just how special those first steps into school life are.
At Eccleston, we believe that every child is unique, full of potential and deserving of the very best start in life. We are proud to be a small, friendly village school with a strong sense of family, where children are known as individuals, friendships flourish and everyone is encouraged to 'Let Your Light Shine'.
A Message from the Headteacher
Hello, I'm Kathryn Rees-Wright, and I am delighted to welcome you to our school.
What makes Eccleston so special is our wonderful sense of community. From the moment you walk through our doors, you will discover a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, happy and valued.
We believe that happy children make confident learners. Our dedicated staff work hard to create an environment where children are inspired to be curious, develop independence, embrace challenges and discover what makes them shine.
We have high aspirations for every child. Through an engaging and ambitious curriculum, enriching experiences and a commitment to excellent teaching, we aim to give our pupils the knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed, both at school and beyond.
As a Church of England school, our Christian vision is at the heart of everything we do. Our six core values of Thankfulness, Love, Respect, Forgiveness, Perseverance and Kindness guide the way we learn, play and care for one another. We celebrate our differences, encourage children to look after others and help them grow into thoughtful, compassionate and responsible young people.
Being a small school is one of our greatest strengths. We take the time to get to know every child and their family, celebrating individual achievements, nurturing talents and providing encouragement and support whenever it is needed. We value the strong relationships we build with parents and carers and believe that working together gives every child the best possible opportunity to flourish.
Whether children are exploring the outdoors, developing new friendships, discovering a love of reading or achieving something they once thought impossible, we want their time at Eccleston to be filled with happy memories, exciting experiences and a genuine love of learning.
Come and See What Makes Eccleston Special!

We would be delighted to welcome you for a visit, show you around our classrooms and outdoor spaces, and introduce you to the children and staff who make Eccleston such a special place.
Whether you are looking for a Reception place or considering moving your child to our school, we would love to meet you.
